  • Our onboarding is designed to be comprehensive and efficient. Once you sign up, we’ll schedule our first call and send a kick-off checklist prior to the go-live date. From there, our team connects your financial accounts and begins mapping your income and expenses to our STR-specific chart of accounts. We’ll handle all the setup - your main job is to share access and review the initial reports with us.

  • We start onboarding at the beginning of a month to give our team maximum time to get your books up and running. Most clients are fully onboard and receiving owner statements for the first month within 10 days following month-end. If your bookkeeping needs cleanup or you have multiple entities, we’ll outline that timeline up front so there are no surprises.

  • We’ll need access to your property management software, booking platforms (like Airbnb, VRBO), read-only access to your bank and credit card accounts, and your QuickBooks file if you already have one. Don’t worry - we’ll send a checklist with everything we need and walk you through each step.

  • Yes. We regularly work with co-hosts where the funds go directly to the homeowners. We will invoice each homeowner once the statements are approved so you receive funds as fast as possible.

  • Yes - that’s one of the advantages of working with Keystone. We manage your monthly bookkeeping and offer in-house tax preparation for individuals, LLCs, and S Corps. Because we already know your books, your tax return process is faster, cleaner, and more accurate – without the back and forth between different companies.

  • While we do require a 12-month contract, we earn your business every month through reliable service and consistent communication. You can upgrade or cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice.

  • Absolutely. Whether you’re a property manager or a host with your own rentals, we can manage bookkeeping across all your entities. If you manage your own properties through your management company, we provide a discount with no minimums to handle the books at the property level.

  • Yes. You’ll have a dedicated account manager who knows your portfolio, plus oversight from our senior accounting team. That means you always have someone familiar with your business and available to answer questions.

  • You’ll receive monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), formatted for short-term rentals. For those of you who manage properties with trust accounting, we also provide the amount to transfer from your trust account to your operating account each month.
